We understand that finding the right services for your child or student can be complex and sometimes challenging. Our admissions specialists are trained to help families and school districts assess a child’s unique needs and help find the best options to position them for success.
When you call, our team will work with you to understand your child, your journey, and help you gain access to the expert services that Kohler Academy, A Bancroft School offers. Our goal is to find the right services for your child and to provide hope for their future.

Enrollment for Special Education Schools
In many cases, parents can start the conversation with their school before or after speaking with Kohler Academy, A Bancroft School. Alternatively, parents may be referred to Kohler Academy, A Bancroft School by the school’s child study team or case manager.
We will ask for the School District to send a “Referral Packet” that includes information needed before the child starts:
- Child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- All current evaluations
- Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) if one exists
- Any data collection on behavior

- Yes! Bancroft provides residential services for children across the country in Mount Laurel, NJ. Read about our children’s residential programs at Bancroft.
- The home school district will provide the proper funding for the day program.
